Returns Policy

For New Parts:

We do offer a refund or exchange if we have the same or an alternative product available.  If you do wish to return your item to us then firstly please let us know either by phone or email, then return the item to us in the same condition it was sent to you.

We will not take back any item that has been fitted.

We must be notified of any goods to be returned within 7 days of receipt, subject to the following conditions:

  • Items are returned carriage paid.
  • Items are received in a resalable condition.
  • Items should be returned unused in their original condition in order to secure a refund.
  • Items are returned complete with all packaging in good condition.
  • We cannot accept any items which have been specially ordered for you or manufactured to your specification for return.
  • All returns are to be accompanied by the senders name and address, account number, order reference number (these are found on the invoice), and reason for return. Please help us to help you.
  • We cannot accept responsibility for returned parcels which are undelivered, please retain your proof of postage etc., you may require it on the event of a claim with your carrier.
  • We are not responsible for any labour charges incurred during fitment or removal of allegedly faulty (or incorrectly supplied) parts.

For Used Parts:

We may not be able to offer you an exchange as some of the parts are rare and difficult to source and quite often we will only have that one item.  In these instances, if we do have an exchange, we can offer it to you, otherwise, we will give you your money back.

Although we do our utmost to source used parts that look like new, please bear in mind that they have been previously used and are not always in mint condition.  If the item has any specific defects, we will include this in the item description on the website.

For Engines:

We do not accept returns or exchanges on engines and we cannot guarantee them.  This is standard in the industry because as we all know, so much can go wrong and it is a quagmire to determine who is at fault.  In our experience it is often a case of someone forgetting to add oil or water, or not screwing a nut in tightly enough that resulted in something suddenly blowing the engine up.  Hence we have to say that they are not guaranteed and we cannot accept returns for them.

What we can say is that all the engines we sell are either built in-house or if we are selling a complete engine, we run a series of checks to ensure that it works properly and meets our rigorous quality standards.
