Turnaround Times & Delivery information
Parts:
We aim to turnaround parts in 3-5 days but it all depends on the part and the level of packaging required, particularly for very heavy items.
Parts are sent at customer’s own cost and as with all other courier related pricing issues - we’ll agree a price with you before sending. For UK orders under a set weight, the website automatically calculates this. For international orders and orders that are over a specific weight, we will agree this with you on a case by case basis as overseas charges vary greatly.
Delivery within the UK:
Parcels under 3 kilos are normally sent by recorded post generally from the Post Office.
Items above 3 kilos are sent by courier. We work on a maximum 5 day despatch and we use firms that generally deliver the next business day.
Special delivery arrangements can be made for timed deliveries but these will incur a surcharge. We’ll confirm with you first before sending if you let us know of any specific requirements in the notes section of your order.
The total cost of your delivery is based on the calculation of what the items ordered actually weigh (cumulatively up to 30 kilos). Above 30 kilos in total will require a specific quote using the same process as for customers outside the UK. We will liaise with all customers on the pricing procedure before sending out heavy items.
Insurance is generally included as part of the delivery cost although some delicate items e.g. glass are not covered by courier companies so alternative fragile specialist carriers will be used. Again, we will consult you to agree the costs and carrier before sending if your item falls under this category.
Delivery outside of the UK:
For customers outside the UK please note that the cost on the website it purely an estimate. If the actual price differs to the estimate, we will contact you and re-agree a new price. We will not process the order until we have received your agreement. If we are unable to contact you, we will cancel your order.
Damaged Deliveries:
If you notice that the packaging of your parcel has arrived damaged in any way then please state ‘Damaged’ next to your signature on the delivery note. This will provide a case for a claim. It is not acceptable to simply state ‘Not checked’ or ‘Unexamined’ and your signature effectively means that the goods have arrived to you in good condition.
